Church Planter Date Night

The HUB hosted 18 Greater Charleston church planting couples for a date night last Friday! Date Night provided a great change to connect and be blessed a little. We give a huge thanks to Journey Church and LifePark for sponsoring the event.

Gathering for a Date Night is a great way to maintain healthy leadership for our Planters and Pastors around the city!

Don’t overestimate what God wants to do through your church in the short-term and underestimate what God wants to do in the long-term.

Regional Coffee- Second Round

The second round of HUB Regional Coffees is in the books, and we're celebrating the connections for Kingdom collaboration! Over 30 churches and leaders were represented from the Greater Charleston area.

Several of these leaders were in the pre-launch or "recently launched" phase, while others represented an existing church. Each leader gave a brief update on his church and context of ministry. Perhaps the most important piece of our time together was spent in prayer for each other. With forty-one new people moving to the Greater Charleston area every day, we need each other's help to see Gospel saturation.

If you're a church leader looking to connect with other pastors or planters, let us know here, or join us for the next round of coffees.

*A special thanks to Church at Cane Bay, Church at LifePark, and Radiant Church for hosting these events.

HUB Regional Coffees

Over forty pastors representing twenty-seven churches gathered for four different regional coffees to share vision and strengthen relationships. Roughly ten churches in attendance have already participated in some form of multiplication.

We're excited about this! Many key leaders from the Greater Charleston area were connected and relationships were formed for Kingdom collaboration. For example, two churches later talked about the possibility of co-planting in a new area.

If you missed your region's coffee and would like to be invited to the next round, reach out here. Be on the lookout for the next regional gathering soon!

2018 Planter Marriage Retreat

The 2018 Planter's Marriage Retreat is in the books, and what a conference it was. Over forty couples from South and North Carolina came together for a weekend getaway in Myrtle Beach. The theme of this year's retreat, Adventure Awaits, highlighted some of the highs and lows of the church planting experience. Any marriage is an adventure, but especially for the church planting couple!

Hear what everyone is saying:

"The Marriage Conference gave my wife and I a break from a stressful church issue and was such a gift to us. Thank you for all of your time, money, and energy you poured into it.  We see it as a kind and timely gift from the Lord!  Thanks for honoring God by pouring into so many pastors! -Mike Seaver, Pastor of Sovereign Grace Church of the Lowcountry

"The Marriage Retreat was incredibly refreshing for my wife and I. It was evident that every aspect was intentionally crafted with care and excellence. That allowed a space for my wife and me to connect on many levels. We are grateful for the team that put this together."                   - Aaron Nebrija, Pastor of City Life Charleston in Mount Pleasant

"Thank you for all the work you and your volunteers did in preparation for the marriage conference. My wife and I have been to a billion different conferences throughout our ministry and your conference is truly one that we have greatly benefited from! Keep up the good work and thanks again!" -Jeremy Mahaffey
